Precautions for virus

Most viruses spraad when you have booted the computer from an infected diskette
or by the internet. A healthy  precaution here would only to boot from the hard
drive.

1. Backup all file. At least two complete backups.
2. Scan every diskette before use.
3. Mark all software program attributes as read only.
4. Research and update anti-virus producis on an ongoing basis to have latest protection.
5. A multiple anti-virus program library is a recommended approach.
